I know it's getting late in the season, but it's still not to late to plant!
I've got several packets of Virginia snakeroot (Aristolochia serpentaria) seeds that I'd like to make available to the butterfly forum membership for the cost of a long SASE.
e-mail me and I'll send you my mailing address and we'll go from there.
For those not familiar with this plant, it is a favored native host plant for the pipevine swallowtail. The plant is a perennial, does not get large (say 15 inches high when mature), requires shade, and prefers rich soil with moderate moisture. It grows as far north as Zone 4.
Also, for those who I've provided seeds or plants in the past, if you are so inclined, drop me a line and let me know how they are doing for you.
Hope I have enough to share with all.
