WANTED: Hardy Ice Plant Seeds-Delosperma cooperi

I posted this on the general seed trading board here at Gardenweb and no one responded that they had these seeds to trade. I'm looking for Delosperma cooperi seeds that I'd like to start to share with a friend. She has a full sun, well drained area above a retaining wall and needs an easy to grow ground cover. I thought Hardy Ice Plant would fit the bill.

I have some interesting seeds listed on my Trade Page. If you see something you'd like, let me know! Thanks,
Linda

RE: WANTED: Hardy Ice Plant Seeds-Delosperma cooperi

Hi Linda, I've just visited HD garden center, they have several colors (purple, yellow, orange) ice plants/delosperma cooperi. One flat is less than $10.

I bought some flats of different ice plants from local nursery, they bloom now. I have no idea what kind of ice plants, but I am sure it is not delosperma cooperi.

Good luck to hunt ice plants and happy gardening.
