Looking for hardy ice plant Delosperma cooperi. I have yellow louisiana Iris to trade or I can pay the postage.

Just a question, when is it a good time to plant ice plant ? I've actually cut pieces before and just stuck them in soil nd it seems sometimes it works and not other times was just wondering?

I am not sure, I have heard they were easy to root maybe it was too dry or wet or something.
