HAVE: Common Pencil cactus

Hello,

I have a plant of what I believe to be Euphorbia tirucalli (Pencil cactus). I was going to throw it away, but learned that some folks actually like it. It has green stems, tiny leaves at some stem tips, and a milky sap. I am sure that it is the most common type of this plant that you can find. I have also read that the sap is poisonous, and can be VERY dangerous just by coming into contact with the skin and especially the eyes.

It is about two feet tall, but has not been shaped to be bushy. I can probably get 3 or 4 cuttings from it. I have no idea on earth why anyone would want something like this, but if anyone is interested in cuttings, send me your mailing address. In the email, put at least one sentence saying that you understand the danger this plant poses (if your dog eats it and dies, I am not buying him).

In return, I want my postage back. Or, if you have plenty, a small piece of rat-tail cactus that I can root.

John
