Note that flower on the lower picture to the right is a flowering pad there is no fruit! * This plant may be what Boissevain named "Opuntia rhodantha var. spinosior". In South central Utah there are many forms of the Opuntia polyacantha complex, that are making intermediate plants, my #225A could be such an plant.
