lithop germination
superoxide
Hi guys,
I have recently got seeds of lithiops [mixed species] and I have been trying to germinate them without much success I used a 1:1:1 basic potting mix:sand:perlite with light silica sand covering on top then I enclosed it in a clear plastic bag in indirect light
Its been about two weeks and still no germination, may be I watered it too much in the beginning.
I cannot find pumice in my area which some growers use
Anyways my question are
1. Can I sow lithops seeds in 100% coco coir
2. Should I cover the seeds completely [airtight] or have holes in the bag for ventilation
3. How much should I water the potting mix in the beginning and afterwards, and how should I do it misting or having the pot in a tray full of water
Thanks
