I am curious about Daconil as a drench, as well. I also have lost a couple of plants (a baby parrasana, and a nevadensis - I think...) to a fungal infection that started in the lower leaves and rapidly took out the upper leaves and center bud. I treated mine (and have been treating my other agaves now, too) with Daconil @ 1/2 teaspoon per quart (I think I got to this by dividing down the ornamental dose...) but I would be interested in others' experience with this stuff.

I think I have curtailed the spread among my other agaves, and I do periodically hit them with it again via spray. Not particularly thrilled about wetting them down to do this, but not sure what else I should do at this point.

I think it may get a bit too humid in my greenhouse when I started to bring them inside for protection in the fall, so I need to figure something out about that. Maybe they would be better off in a window inside my house at that time...

Sorry, no help here, we really don't have much in the way of fungal issues here in the desert. If fungus does rear its ugly head, we have one very effective solution -- stop watering. I'd guess your best advice will come from indoor gardener types rather than desert rats. Good luck!
