Hello everybody,
I have some white cottony patches on my crassula campfire. They have been there for some time. started around the time I brought plants inside (late sept early oct). the plant started to flower around this time I convinced myself it was part of that process. Now I have an uptick in paranoia and from my limited research I think these are mealybugs? So I isolated the plant and have been spraying with water/alcohol solution daily. the patches seem to melt right away between the solution and the pressure from spray bottle. Can somebody confirm that is what this is? and if so I am leaning toward drastic chemical measures to try and eliminate as soon as possible (sounds like alcohol and manually removing would be a long battle). I have not uprooted the plant, should I? Thank you in advance for the advice and sorry for poor quality pics, I will try for better tonight if needed.
