| I have been trying to zero in on the species of this Sempervivum - I know there are a gazillion of 'em. Years ago I picked this one out of a mixed batch with only the typical label "hen and chicks."
Just as a curiosity I have been trying to ID this one. Rosettes are about an inch across, largest maybe and inch and a quarter. In summer it is green with red tips. I have never seen it bloom over many years. From my googling it seems a lot like S. montanum. Is this close or am I reaching for the moon? Thanks in advance for any confirmation or other guesses... hortster |

| Good luck with that one. Nice that it is so colorful this time of year. Speaking of reaching for the moon. Looks like you got it planted in a moon rock. Very nice. |
