Linda and Pug. Very nice..strange time to rebloom. Although my TC's stopped flowering a month back, my Easter Cactus started budding 3 wks ago. Budding to flowering. Isn't it a bit early? Some flowers dropped, 'found faded blooms in the saucer.' I hope more buds form. Toni

Thanks Springtime and Toni! Toni, I love your Easter cactus blooms...very pretty color! Mine's not doing anything right now even though I have it in the same location and care as my TC's. It does seem early for your EC to be blooming?

mine seem to bloom from the starting of budding through march..sometimes Aprilish..all mine are in a south window with white "croche" curtains. I don't fertilize or water much during that time..and then begin to water/fertilize after they're all done..the plants almost tell you what then need and when..I swear that they go through a 2-3 week "dormancy" stage after blooming, as the soil remains well moist..and then after that time they really suck up the water and it seems like I'm watering ever 2-3 weeks. I don't pine over mine, I just let them do their thing.
