How about cutting off one or two of the branches and then planting those once they've calloused? Then you'd have three plants.

OR⦠you can certainly cut the stem anywhere and replant it, making the new plant a lot shorter, and the cut stem may grow a new set of heads, too.

It's such a pretty plant ... this is a situation where I wouldn't want to take any chances! I'd try air layering to get a healthy root system in place before I cut it and repotted. It shouldn't be too hard to get the cut stem to put out roots, but why take the risk?
