Schlumbergera Opuntioides

Hi, this is my first post here on the C&S forum. I'm usually over on the houseplant forum. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a new plant I just purchased. I'm having a hard time finding any information about this plant online. Apparently it is very rare and possibly extinct. It was listed as Schlumbergera opuntioides when I purchased it. I found the synonyms for it is Epiphyllum opuntioides. I also seen it refered to by Zygocactus opuntioides, Epiphyllum obovatum, Epiphyllanthus obovatus.

The only information I can find about this plant is it's origin and when it was discovered. I cannot find any care information. I'm assuming it would require the same care as a Holiday Cactus. If anyone out there has one of these plants and would like to share some care info, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dawn
