Above is 1 of 3 agave ovatifolia that I have in the ground. This is the first yr that it is not showing damage.

Below Protoamericana 'silver surfer' second yr in this spot. Not the sunniest location, but I wanted it front and center.

Uncovered?! Good luck, it can take days or even weeks for peripheral frost damage to manifest on Agaves, although catastrophic damage often shows immediately.

We had non stop rain Sunday to make matters worse. So it's not like they were hardened off by any means. Will be Sat before I see any daylight, and be able to take pics of other agaves in the rock garden.

Good luck! I can't imagine anyone in NC coming out of this unscathed, but let's hope it's at least manageable.

I like what you're doing there! Those ovatifolias do look great, as do the other Agaves.

Thanks, just hope winter remains normal here on out. I would hate to lose any agaves but I have so many new ones waiting for a spot.
