Alphabet: Letter O

I don't want to obsess, but I love the Alphabet game. I won't let it slip into oblivion. I want to leave it open for others to have the opportunity to offer up their outstanding O's, so I feel obliged to omit everything outside of orboids.
Without further obstruction... O.

Hi LT, It's a round about story since I'm new on this forum but not GW. I'm mostly on the Texas forum and posted here to get an ID on a new cactus. Then the alphabet series looked like fun and I saw Mara (wontonamara) is here too. (Hi Mara)

no surprise... seems most of the cactus I get from local cactus and succulent sales are incorrectly identified... but I am not enough of a cactophile to know the difference... any suggestions what my 'Oroya' is (maybe I will luck out and it will still have the letter 'o' in it somewhere)?

 o
RE: Alphabet: Letter O

Nice one, GermanStar! =) Looks like it split to be twins!

Good pokeys, Jurgen! You reminded me I have Ortegocactus. Must look for bloom pix to put up later.

Geoff, perhaps your (tagged) Oroya is Parodia haselbergii. (it DOES have one O...in the middle~LOL)
