Supposedly, A. spiralis has glandular hairs on its leaves, while A. namaquensis may or may not have hairs but when it does the hairs are not glandular. The problem is, these two aren't the only Albuca that grow curled leaves!

Can't help with the naming but love the curly leaves.

It seems like a lot of south african plants have curled leaves like this, and many aren't albucas.
I've looked over both plants under magnification, and I don't see hairs, glandular or otherwise....do the hairs run the length of the leaves?

They're all over the leaves when they're present.

I don't think there are any glands (globular bits) on the tips of the hairs here, so this one's tentatively ID'd as A. namaquensis.
