As far as I know, a new plant cannot be started from a single leaf. Have you posted in the Hoya forum?

It's 99% unlikely to become a plant. Sorry but it'll just grow roots.

This is a Valentine's Day rip off which a number of yrs. ago I persuaded my local supermarket to stop selling. This was at least 5-8 yrs. ago. selling a single potted leaf for $12 dollars, heart shaped Valentines rip off.

Smart for the rip off artists, but nonetheless won't grow into a plant, sorry. And I grow Hoyas & am a regular at Hoya Forum.

I would love to see a photo of your valentine because I can't imagine how one leaf in a pot could look appealing enough to spend $4. Was it surrounded by chocolate candies or lace?
