This is an Echerveria. It is normal for the bottom leaves to dry, turn yellow/brown and die. As long as the leaves are firm, things are good. It will want lots of light, but don't place it in direct sun immediately as the leaves will burn. This plant has been inside for some time and must be introduced to gradual sun over a several day period. More sun will add color to the leaves and keep the growth tight. Depending where in Florida you are located, you can put this outside in full sun. In the summer, when the monsoons come, you might want to protect it from so much water.

Thanks bikerdoc5968! I think it's getting an adequate amount of sunlight by the window. Is there a reason why the middle leaves are facing downward? Also, should I remove the brown/dead leaves at the bottom?

Not certain why some have down-turned leaves. I have some doing the same thing. Yes, remove dead leaves. What you will find over time is that more of the stem begins to show. After awhile, you can cut off the head, callous the end and replant it. The remaining stem should grow new plants.
