Hello! I've had this plant combo about a year now. I put it out on the deck in summer and bring it in in the winter and leave it in the sunniest area I have. In Syracuse, NY, this equates to western exposure with overcast light.

The big damage happened when the plants were outdoors. In the last few weeks, a clear,sticky substance has appeared on the leaves. There are tiny black spots on the underside of the leaves as well.
