Succulent has clear sticky substance and black spots

Hello! I've had this plant combo about a year now. I put it out on the deck in summer and bring it in in the winter and leave it in the sunniest area I have. In Syracuse, NY, this equates to western exposure with overcast light.

The big damage happened when the plants were outdoors. In the last few weeks, a clear, sticky substance has appeared on the leaves. There are tiny black spots on the underside of the leaves as well.

Hi, the only time I have seen a clear sticky substance it turned out to be the excretion of scale insects. I suspect those are your black spots? or some other pest.

Oh no, I'd say that's certainly scale there. Been there, done that. :/ Treat as soon as you can.

If scale or mealies, the black spots are probably sooty mold growing on the honeydew excretions.
