well - in Toronto we had about 25-30 cms yesterday and then glorious sun today..

Had to get out and excavate before it froze solid, no easy task, I have to tell you. This confirms my resolve that this will be my last New England winter.

I fantasize about leaving NE behind, too...especially on days like this.

Think about how much time, effort, and $$$ we apply to fighting the elements up here. These extreme weather events (hurricanes in the warm weather...blizzards now) really take their toll.

Yea, come down to Texas where all we have is brush fires, water rationing, and tornados.The winters are mild. That's for sure.
