RE: dry stall

Do you mean the stuff used for horse bedding? And would this be something you're planning on using with Cacti & succulents???

Yes, its just pumice. They have a website, with a phone number and email address. I tried emailing a couple of times, but got no response. If you called, they could probably tell you whether there are any dealers in the area.

Correct. Pure smaller screend pumice. I've used it for the last year or so. Get it from my farm and ranch.
Give a bunch to club memebers too. Kepp calling them. They are small. Eventually you'll connect and they'll give you the nearest dealer. Good, clean pumice of perefect size for most mixes.

I looked for it for some time and couldn't find it. The link gives you the information on its manufacturer to contact.

What I'm using is Turface - I still don't know if it's the stuff I want but I suspect it may prove an acceptable substitute for pumice.

Here is a link that might be useful: Dry Stall

RE: dry stall

The pumice I've used is comparable to perlite or lava rock; it holds a bit of water, but is really more of a drainage component. Turface, on the other hand, holds a lot of water. I use it to increase water retention in my mixes.
