Beautiful! Look forward to pics of open blooms! What is this pretty gal's name? Do the leaves feel as fuzzy as they look in this pic?

Yes, the leaves are thick and they feel like velvet material.

I will check and take photos after this rain-fall we are having.

Hmmm, I wonder if this is a plant that Rosemarie helped identify a couple months back.....I can't see the whole plant here, and yours could be much more compact than the ones I've seen.....but could this be Kalanchoe marnieriana?

Doubts overhere; K. marnieriana has more round leaves, I think. I'm thinking of K. behariensis.

Ok. The heavy rain is over and this is what the plant looks like after a heavy rain. Bloom not open yet, but it is coming along :)
