| Euphorbia enopla or E.ferox Brown coloring could spread depending on a few factors: The composition of the soil your water source and other nutrients being supplied or lacking in availability. |

| that is indeed E ferox. If brown areas are pretty firm and not mushy, I think they are just signs of age and scarring. |

| thank you all.. The brown spots are quite firm so I will put it down to age etc and not worry about it too much.. |
