| Hi all...I am sure this has been asked before but I can't fined any post.... what is the best way and soil to plant cactus seeds in???...I was out today and found some cactus seeds... I planted some last year in seed starter and nothing ever grew...:( how long does it take for cactus seeds to sprout???? linda |

| From what I've seen, many use a gritty mix and not seed starter which is meant for annual/perennial type seeds. Use a mix of perlite, granite, turface course sand, etc. Just place the seed on the top and let them "wash" into the mix. Keep them warm. Hopefully someone with more smarts than myself will chime in. |
