Aeonium - grew some. I am sure that all of them would have grown much more if they received much more sun & (probably) more experienced caregiver...but, they are still alive, that's great for me.

Here is my Haworthia mirabilis. The first picture is when I bought it.(4/1/13) The second picture is the same plant back in October(10/14/13) From the time I bought it to the last picture I took 3 offsets off of it.

I divided it two days ago and got 17 plants/plantlets.

I see that mine is 'stiffer' looking - not sure if it is crowded, but the leaves are skinnier & longer too. I am sure your weather has some to do with it too, the sun/light here is nothing to compare to what you guys get..
I probably will divide it this summer.

This was ID-ed as possibly E. elegans. Exactly year later, it grew some, has couple new pups and blooming again.

    Rina,

I bought mine as H. mirabilis. Either they are different forms or, like you said it could be growing conditions. Mine get about 3 hours of afternoon sun.(had to acclimate it) Hopefully someone more knowledgeable then I will comment on this.

I will dig through my pictures to see if I have any more examples of good growth.

    Regards, Patrick

Bought this echeveria in April 2013, it was nice & compact. Now, year later, it is all stretched - obviously 'hungry' for sun.
What to do with all the young ones?

A good example of 'hungry for sun' - this Echeveria Fred Ives...it grew, but in need of major chop now.

This crassula Tricolor grew a good sized side branch (received it in May 2012) that probably should be chopped off?

Depends on what you like. I like the single trunk look myself. Others prefer multiple stems in one pot.

I prefer single trunk too, and also slightly 'narrower' plant.
This is actually a branch, attached/growing from main trunk at soil level.

This was a great idea, Rina. I have some "then and now" photos to share but I have to find some time tomorrow for the "now" photos. I hope you don't mind me adding some.

Great, pls. post as many as you can.
I like to see others progress - to learn how different succs should and could look; and to see difference the growing conditions make.

Looking forward to see photos...anybody else?

And, as always, any comments are welcomed.

This NOID grew very little since Feb. 2013, mostly rosette opened up. But leaves are plump, shiny and nice reddish tips (mostly on underside) remain. The clay pot is only 1/2" larger than original plastic one.

    (anybody knows what it is?)

Tricolor jade cuttings didn't look like they will make it back in June 2013, 9 months later (March 16/2014) they look much better.

Here's my favorite NOID. Before and after are 6 months apart.

And I finally found the right mix and light for my TC. These pix are also 6 mos. apart. (I was busy six months ago!)

My NOID looks little bit like yours...I have been watching your thread in hopes to get ID...Looks so much better than when you got it.

TC is very nice, looks like it grew some in 6 mo.

Gollum (hope that's correct) - little thirsty when first got it. Have couple of tiny ones grown from fallen leaves too.

So far NOID, anybody knows what it is? Perhaps have to wait for flowers - they are coming.
Looks little 'beat-up' after this winter, looks like it wants more sun too. Not sure why the leaves hang down. Definitely not overwatered - if anything, underwatered.

I would think that NOID is Graptopetalum pentandrum subsp. superbum, Rina. Just struggling for the sunshine, is all.

    Colleen

Thank you, I just googled it - I like the way it flowers.
I am happy to have that!
There are more flower spikes, just too small to see yet.
Well, if it's 'only' sunshine, hopefully there is going to be more of it soon. I keep them outside once is warm enough.

How you guys remember all the names...Rina

    Rina,

That's such a great Aloe of puppiferousness. Wanted to correct Colleen (because it happens once in a lifetime), too - it's now G. superbum - it was raised to species rank, so there's also now the other one, G. pentandrum.

NIce pics, Rina. Good idea to keep a log of the plants year to year. Great job with the haworthias! They are definitely appreciating your care. I'm still figuring out their culture in my space. Hope they multiply as your have.
