Agave recomendation

I want an agave that does good in shade, low water and is very heat resistant.

There are some agaves that grow very big. If you keep them in a pot, will that limit how much they grow? I don't want an agave that will fall over from being so big in the pot.

RE: Agave recomendation

Hey Jay, from my experience once these type of plants are commited to a pot they pretty much just STOP growing a there regular pace at least, I have some that almost come to a STAND STILL and look as good as the day I commited it to the pot, I'll post a picture for you in a sec.

RE: Agave recomendation

Hello Jay,. Heres one I planted about 7 seven years ago, from my experience once you put them in a pot they pretty much conform to their new life in a pot and STOP growing any more, I think the roots keep growing but from what Ive experienced they dont mind it.

And they continue looking good too.
