From the local Goodwill, this is a coin bank apparently sold previously at Target for 12.99. I looked at it and took a flyer for a couple a bucks. After several million file strokes applied to the coin slot located on dino's back, I have this. 
So there are 4 existing drainage holes...the opening to get the coins out and 3 of the 4 feet has a hole. I guess the other foot is closed because of how these are fired. Planted a piece of my elephant food after adding soil. We'll see how it works out. I quite like it. 
Gratuitous shot of jade garage sale buy for 3 bucks. The big one at the back. I said, "Oh yeah, that works for me. Here's the 3."
