Unfortunately Haworthias and Agaves particularly are prone to sending out offsets through drain holes in the pots. Can be a bit hard to get them out with intact roots. Have fun !!!!!!

If that is a cheap plastic pot I would suggest using scissors or shears to to remove the plastic. It will save you a whole lot of aggravation and the plant will thank you also.

My string of hearts is doing that also,i need to repot that also.

Yes, that's happened more than a few times.

Its like they grow their own pot feet.

I have a potted geranium and out of the bottom of that is growing what looks like a maiden hair fern to me,something I have never had,and from the same pot,2 pieces of staghorn fern,which I do have..

Planted a bunch of new plants yesterday,not cacti,but perinnials.had this old wagon that had a broken handle,so I planted it with dahlias,zinnias,lobelias.Can't wait til it all fills in.
