They all look so vital and fantastic with deep reddened leaves and compact growth. I can't add much advice to what you're already doing, which sure seems to be great treatment. Give 'em time and see how they develop. If you don't see growth, increase the fertilization schedule (unless you're already at the max level).

Ditto on what Josh said...Very nice! These don't grow fast for me either...quite slow actually, only grows for me in the winter. Very short growing window here with a very hot spring and humid/wet summers :o(

They don't get much in the way of special treatment as I tend to grow my plants on the hard side I guess. The saucer with the cuttings has been in the g/h since they were chopped off with no supplementary heating since the beginning of March, temps have been down to less than 5c at nights in there as heating costs have gone too dear lately for the heaters to be on much more. Thanks for posting Josh and Nancy. No doubt I will be back to show their progress.

Great job, so healthy looking...I personally like 'single stemmed specimens that branch at the top'. Might be worth a try...Just my tuppence.

Chris, yes I admit to liking the single stemmed ones 'slightly' better....now! I can see where I have gone wrong. The Hobbit was a gift from another UK member and was already twin trunked and had just begun to branch. With hindsight I should have realised that my views would change with time and I should have cut the trunks and rooted them individually, but I didn't. It's a good job Jades a quite forgiving and put up with all this brutality. However, I do find that both Hobbits and Gollums don't branch as readily as regular jades, even with pinching. Do any others observe this?
