Well I managed to get some pictures of some of the plants this afternoon in between the showers.

Lets start with this one from another post. These were the best pictures I could get with my phone.

First a reminder of the plant in question. Pic#1

Here is a close-up of the thorns. Pic. #2

And here is the bloom today. Pic. #3

Next I got these for free at a nursery a couple of weeks ago. These were laying on the ground and the sales lady told me to take them since I was also buying some other stuff. The mother plants they had for sale were labeled "Easter Cactus" but it doesn't look like any Easter Cactus I have ever seen.

Got this at the same time also laying on the ground. Pic #5

Glenn, I certainly could ID some but I don't want to make our super detective, RoRo, jobless. :-)

What a collection Glenn, you could open your own nursery with that display, very nice.

Doc, wouldn't a game like jeopardy be fun to play with cacti & succulents . Rosemarie I'm sure with your creative mind you could put one together or maybe even a Wheel of Fortune game .

With category's related to certain spieces, I don't know, I'm drinking decaf coffee again. :/

Jordie , so thoughtful of you to consider rosemaries role here, she is running a little behind though, I'm counting on you so that I can jump into the alphabet thread.

    #14-17 Mammillarias ?
    # 21 Pereskia ?
    # 26-27 Echinocereus viereckii ssp morricalii
    #28 Echinocereus ?triglochidiatus v. inermis?
    #29 Stenocereus beneckei
    #30 Myrtillocactus geometrizans
    #31 Mammillaria ?vetula?
    #32 Hildewintera aureispina
    #33 Echinocereus ?pentalophus?
    #36 Ferocactus emoryi
    #46 Euphorbia stenoclada

Yeehaw...I got lost on sidetracked researching on some of these, Glenn!
Yes, Howard, you did very well!!
Landruc, that's it, minus an 'e' at the end. :)
Ha ha, Greg! I don't have time for making games. I'm stealing time for the bits I do here as it is!
Jordi to the rescue! Yes, chores this morn kept me away a bit. Thank goodness you put names to so many. I was struggling with many of the pokeys, having been away too long from IDing them.

Figured I'd better type what I have so far...

1,2,3. I thought Wilcoxia/Echinocereus, but didn't know which (I bow to Jordi) The bloom on yours was starting to look like Aporocactus to me. Ha ha!
    4. Echinopsis sp. (I thought too)
5, 6. Monadenium ritchiei (as Howard stated)
7.Tephrocactus articulatus v. inermis (thanks Jordi...I could not remember "inermis" & looked for nudum--ha!)
    8. Senecio/Kleinia anteuphorbium, maybe
9, 10. as you say, Echinocereus rayonensis (I think as well)
    11. Aloe sp
    12. Huernia sp.
    13. looks more like Senecio/Kleinia -maybe stapeliiformis, but not quite right
    14. Senecio/Kleinia sp. somewhat like pendula or 'Nova'-not sure
    15. Mammillaria elongata
    16. Mammillaria sp.
    17. Mammillaria sp.
    18. Opuntia sp. (I used to know this species name, but can't recall it now!)
    19. looks like Echinocereus rayonensis too, but maybe not
    20. maybe Cylindropuntia sp.
    21. Pereskia sp.
    22. Notocactus uebelmannianus
    23. looks like Rebutia krainziana to me
    24. Euphorbia 'Sunrise'
    25. Kalanchoe crenato-daigremontiana (previously Bryophyllum)
    26, 27. bow to Jordi's ID -Echinocereus ...
    28. also bow to Jordi's ID- Echinocereus...
    29. Stenocereus, bow to Jordi's species beneckei
    30. Myrtillocactus geometrizans
    31. Mammillaria species
    32. Cleistocactus winteri...or Jordi's Hildewintera...(syn.)
    33. Echinocereus, bow to Jordi's ID
    34. ??
    35. Yes, Aloe plicatilis
    36. Ferocactus emoryi
    37. Opuntia santa-rita, maybe
    38. Aeonium 'Kiwi'
    39. Aeonium lindleyi
40, 41. xGraptoveria 'Debbi', as landruc said
42, 43. Rhipsalis/Hatiora, but not sure salicornioides looks quite like that when young (not like upside down bottles)
44, 45. Euphorbia anoplia (as Howard said), Zipper Plant
    46. Euphorbia stenoclada
    47. Maybe a form of Sedum acre, but looks similar to many of the tiny ones-mostly misidentified online. So, what is it, Glenn? =D

Fun stuff! Have to get back to my work now! :P
May look for 34. later. Any that are not positively ID'd...post again when they bloom!!

And the submissive cavewoman, RoRo - folks are gonna get the wrong idea.

Aw, think what they like, Jeff! They misunderstood the penguin too! I didn't have one for Master Cactus!

On 21., I believe Quiabentia has leaves that are thicker, shiny, succulent, without visible veins.

    Jeff,
having grown a big Quiabentia (which now is mine :-)) yourself while living here in SD you should have known better what a Quiabentia looks like!!

    WOW! Thank you all!

    Howard great start.

Thank you for the comment Greg! The only problem with having a nursery is people would to take my plants! : ) Remember this is only some of the ones I have had problems tracking names down for.

    Jordi Thanks for the link!

Rosemarie Thank you! You are the ID Queen! A couple of those I have searched for months! #18 My neighbor told me today looked like Opuntia argentina? You were on the right track with #47 It is Sedum nuttallianum 'Yellow Stoncrop'. We have a pretty big patch of it growing at the front of our property around a large limestone outcrop. There is several Six-lined Racerunners that patrol it in the summer looking for bugs. Fun to watch. I have about 4 pots of it I have started from cuttings after mowing the yard.

Hey Glenn--I'm looking for pollen for my large NOID epiphyllum. If you have any, would you be willing to send if I provide a SASE, and some seed later on if it works? Mine is a compact grower (relatively speaking) with a 5" flower in 'retina searing cerise', very prolific.

    Thanks for any help!
