Ok good to know. So are the leaves symptoms of over or under watering?

Not sure about the leaves. Was both on one side by the window? it could be a little cold stress or potting stress. I am not a good doctor.

Mine looks terrible right now because it got badly bit by the cold .. It will recover in time.

Hard to tell from pics, but in the first sideways pic the leave looks like it is yellowing and drying. This is normal for older leaves as they die and isn't necessarily an indication of anything. I usually remove these leaves to keep the plant "looking" clean just because I'm OCD....LOL

On the lower leave, you can see where it has dried and will eventually die. I have removed the dried portion on the leave next to it; insects didn't eat it!

I'm not a good doctor, either. However, the leaves on my K. luciae get a little crispy on the edges before the leaf falls off. This, too, is an outer leaf, so it may be normal.

Mine are PIG. They will lose the red when the summer monsoons come. You can see a few leaves ready to fall soon. I already removed the dead leaves from the smaller plants before taking this picture.

When you see cold hardiness ratings of 26-27, beware that that means root hardiness. The leaves might get , no, WILL most likely die back(personal experience) and the roots will send out babies. Mine is in the plant category of the "we will water but not show off for a while". She has had her glorious pictures on here and is on a well earned SABATICAL. That is it. She is on sabbatical. After this winter, I have lots on a well earned sabbatical. Sigh.Time to sit back and enjoy everyone else's photos.

Well I'll let the plant mellow out. I have it by a window sill and try to take it outside when I get home in the afternoons after work since the time has changed for more sunlight. I just wanted to make sure I didn't over water it. I've been known to do that. It was just looking so good in the store and then it comes home with me and starts releasing it's leaves! Wtf.
