| Roma, you seem to know only the real big Dudleya in our region (which would be even more than I know about Dudleya). This is Dudleya blochmaniae subsp. brevifolia, which is growing on 10-20 m2 areas in various locations near the coast on sandstone.  Jordi BTW did you know that there are 52 species of Dudleya growing in California? Many of them are very small species. |

| Repeating what I said on TGF : Aha! I was not being a very good detective this time! The large ones were still VERY tiny...not a match at all to what I named. Sheesh! I was rushing too much. Yes, I only know some of the the larger Dudleya species. Never heard of this one!! No, I did not know there were 52 species in CA. Wow! Thanks for my LSNFT item (Learn something new for today)!! |
