April in Arizona

A friend took me to a habitat site for Graptopetalum rusbyi, one to two Graptos endemic to Arizona/USA (that's maybe true - perhaps G. bartramii goes into Mexico). There were some flowers and other stuff to see on the way that you might be interested in.

Yucca baccata

Vista

Naturally disciplined tree

Scolopendra heros

New opuntia

Our destination, a desiccated form (no rain this year - there would be flowers now). I think that's a baby Agave chrysantha above.

Great shots. Hope the rain comes for you. Thats a mean looking centipede. We have little ones here but nothing like that. Looks like it would pack a mean bite.

Jeff in 1 word, WOW! Those are some Fabulous shots of the desert scene in Az. I think my hair would look like the traveling goddess if I ran into that centipede along the way, I don't think Black Flag would help on him, it might just infuriate him lol..
I sure would like to have that tree in my front yard along with the huge boulder.
