This is one of my mother's plants that she left behind. She received it about three years ago from her friend and I felt concerned that she was using the gel for beverages but this may actually be the real Aloe vera all along? The leaves are very beefy and way more dull from the striated so-called Aloe vera I see at big box stores that end up with orange flowers.
