While I was around a couple years ago, I don't believe we ever met. I just read your post and wanted to say that I am sorry to hear that you lost your little brother, but congratulations on the birth of your son (that is hard to type in one sentence, it must be bittersweet for you, I'm sorry).

Rosemarie & Jeff and many others as well always supply us with vast amounts of garden wisdom and cacti & succulent care.

As far as the Cactus Shades I think they were OVER WATERED while in someones care and didn't make it past the last stop I'm sorry to report.
Someone mentioned the other day that they wouldn't mind starting it up again but the missing link is the Shades themselves and then we can start the process again. I'm all for it seeing it's a good way to place a picture to a name, After all it's not just about plants but the people that grow them too Lol...:)

Planto, you may not remember me but I remember you and it's nice to see you again :)
... And wow! Sad face for the cactus shades! We must aquire a new pair somehow... Unfortunately when I googled cactus sunglasses I saw many pics of cacti wearing sunglasses, but no cactus shades. Those glasses were pretty original I guess.
Anyways, my babes was named Murphy Lee and he is 16 months old now and every bit a pain in Mommys butt :) Pics to come as soon as I recover my photobucket account.
