Help! Can you identify this succulent?

It has leaves like an aloe, except they are growing up along a stalk instead of all at the base of the plant. The flowers are pink and hang downwards in a teardrop shape.

I found this plant on the ground at a flea market, it was being trampled on and I brought it back to life. It's so happy now that it's flowering for me ;)

I'd really appreciate your help with identifying it, I'd love to know what kind of plant it is.

As Brad alludes to, this plant can become quite invasive. While it originally comes Madagascar (as all Bryophyllums do), as do many Aloes, it's a relative of the jade plant. You can do a search here using 'MoT' or 'Bryophyllum' and find lots more information. Good on you for growing it well.

It is a member of the Cassulaceae Family. Brad thanks, your response was absolutely correct. I have never seen leaves on that species looking like that, there seems to be many varieties. Norma

It is Kalanchoe x houghtonii (previously Bryophyllum 'Houghton's Hybrid'-name change 2006).
