Hi, i was gifted a titanopsis calcarea 3-4 weeks ago. It came from Home Depot and was very wet. I planted it a few days later in a glazed pot and watered it thoroughly. A few days after this, I realized this would probably lead to rot, so I did some research and took it out, took the store dirt off the roots, and let it dry/heal for a few days. A few leaves fell off from the base at this point. I planted it in a terra cotta pot with 50/50 perlite /cactus soil mix. I left it dry for a couple of weeks.
A few days ago, I noticed some saggy leaves so I gave it a light mist of water. Now more leaves are falling off- can't tell if rotten or dry. Leaves get soft from the base and start to fall off sometimes I pull them off because they are breaking off.
Can I save this plant? Is it thirsty? In the future I want another go at this plant, what is a recommended watering schedule?
