No, no harm at all (some can sit for months) - just don't water for a few days after you've relocated them in the ground.

I find that it is good to let bruised roots callous after removing from the ground for a couple of days, and to hold off watering after you plant for a couple of days. Rot can easily get started in the roots if you water plants in. Otherwise, they are easy to move.

Matthew, great advice already given, the nice thing about this weather is we can almost get away with anything right now in Cali. I have just one bit of advice to offer you, and that is if your succulents are currently in bright light or shade and they go into full sun they can experience culture ShOcK! Until they get restablished . At least mine did.
If you can how about some pictures of your current plants and then an after picture too.

Yes good advice about the sun issue. I will put a five gallon container or folded cardboard to shield the sun and then slowly move that away. I think their is a sunshield spray ( I have never used it) that I have heard mention. Some people will use a shade cloth fragment on sticks for the shock mitigation. I just look around for scrap something.
