    David, Boy these Duds can really steal the show, I have a type of this plant called Dudleya Hassei which looks nice but this one tops it hands down.

    looks more like D pulverulenta to me. D brittonii leaves usually a bit thicker and arch upward. Color and size can be identical. Could be wrong, of course.

    It looks very happy on that brick. The brick is definitely more like its natural habitat than the lush foliage below.

    I think it looks like a stab of sunlight in the lush perennial garden. Very nice.
