I was just on holiday in Amsterdam and found this wonderful flower market. I would have purchased tulip bulbs but I knew, if they were found upon my return to the US, they would be confiscated; they were huge and dirt cheap!. I did find this vendor selling cacti and much to my amazement, they ALL had straw flower except the one in the middle!!!!! So we're not the only ones who have to deal with fake flowers! The price of 3.50 euro is about $4.75 and 10 euro is about $13.65

Howard,
I agree with JoJo, it looks so out of place. In some ways, I have to say theirs look worse than most of the cacti I see here with strawflowers. I think they only put maybe one straw flower on every cactus here... all of those have at least five. I can't imagine trying to pull five glued strawflowers off.

Omgi would go CRAZY trying to free those cacti from those horrible flowers, most of those Would have bald spots or still have glue remnants on them ....these should be illegal it's plant torture.
Some of nine still have. Glue on them THAT won't come off without destroying the needles:-(

Can you imagine how stupid some must feel after they bought and showed off their cactus to other only to find out it's fake. It would turn some one against cactus. Even if they find one blooming on it's own. Once fooled or some thing like that.
