Here's the other lil guy :/

I have not tried growing this plant, from what I've seen of them, yours looks sunken/dieing. :-/
Sad to say, sometimes when a plant is stressed or dieing, it will put out a rush of blooms as it's way of survival.
I hope that's not the case here, and others will be along with more help.

Maybe there's no hope ;(. Hate to think what I did wrong. Confused.

If it were me I'd check to see if it still has roots. It looks under watered.

They are astrophytums? Lovely plants. I was wondering if they are seed grown, Chuy?

Rina... I carefully took them out and loosened up the soil a bit and made sure the roots received enough water.. which I don't think they were :(.... thank you all for helping me out!! always learning something here.

Marguerite.. No, not grown from seed.. a beautiful well known nursery I love to go to and spend a few minutes just "looking" has a large variety of cacti/succulents..

Wow, what an amazing recovery! I remember when you first posted those, and thought they were goners for sure. Congrats, you should be proud of that rescue! If those are the flowers it offered when weak, I can't wait to see next year's blooms!

I'm glad your plant revived. We had some really hot weather in early May and now things are sort of back to normal in the OC. Not enough June gloom, though.
