You cannot propagate Aloes from leaves.

It's not impossible but very, very improbable. I've heard from good sources that certain Aloes have indeed been leaf propped, but by a very experienced grower. Also, they can be tissue cultured, like anything else. Glottiphyllum and other mesembs cannot be leaf-propped, a stem is necessary. Funny because you chose a couple of the ONLY plants that won't do it.

That sucks. Oh well:). Thanks to all who told me otherwise, otherwise I would've looked really stupid waiting for something to come from a plant that can't. :)

I've done it...i still save all leaves weather they can be propped or not... just cross my fingers. :-D
