Variegated Jade Pruning - Before and After

Hi All,

I thought I'd share my first and only jade pruning with you all. I wasn't really sure what I was doing, but I basically removed all the branches that were growing down and I really wanted to allow some visibility for the main trunk, which is quite nice but was hiding behind branches.

Here is the "front" of the plant.

And the "back." It's clearly quite full and in need of a prune.

Here is a close up of the trunk I was referring to.

So, snip snip!

I ended up with a ton of cuttings as you can see. I'll be planting them soon and hopefully having a few new variegated jades in the future.

Here is the final outcome. I may prune here and there. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing haha. I also think it would look better in a smaller pot.

The "back." I had a hard time cutting the all white branches.

From the top.

And here is the pretty trunk I'm such a fan of.

So there it is. I'd love some tips going forward--if I should prune anything else or repot it into something smaller for better proportions. I'm also curious to know if anyone has any tips to smooth out the nubs from the old branches. Hope you all enjoyed!
