Just bought a couple of elongated Pleiospilos "nelii". Are they different species, hybrids, or just growing oddly from whatever conditions they came from?
I have no clue, but I am wondering if some mislabeled plants went out. I saw the same thing at my local big box store. I bought a hobbit jade that was labeled as gollum.
I would first think P. bolusii, maybe simulans, but they are usually flatter, having said that my young simulans look like bolusii at the moment. Confused? I tag such plants like this P. bolusii?, meaning I have to check again later. LOL!
Faucaria looks like felina ssp tuberculosa or a hybrid of that, but definately some tuberculosa.
