What ever it was seems to have been burnt, maybe a victum of very off the mark sun transitioning.

Might be a good ideas to keep it in a more cooler more indirect sun to lightly shaded area with warmer sun but would also aim for the cooler side of day. Hold back on watering perhaps try rooting a cutting or two from this one.

Yes, I agree, Kalanchoe x kewensis. Will have pink flowers. =)
