Echeveria ID

I know flowers on these aren't at all helpful. I have two very similar plants; one was labeled Echeveria 'Tippy' and this one had no label. Both look very much like my Echeveria chihuahuensis but both are much smaller. So I'm thinking this is E. 'Tippy' or maybe E. colorata; some might suggest agavoides but I think not. What's your opinion? I must say the color is off because this has been in full sun and is a bit bleached. It is usually more blue-green.

Beautiful plant, I cant help with the ID but I have to ask how often are you watering this and with what ? I currently reside in the midwest and am trying to figure this out.

Cookie, since I don't know your conditions, it is difficult to advise. In addition, I don't know which Echeveria you have. Mine are out on my driveway all summer from last frost in the spring to first frost in the fall. Mother nature waters everyone unless things get very hot and dry. They get whatever the prevailing weather conditions happen to be. The only time things vary is if we get some cool temps and lots of rain. Then they go undercover.

I'm going with Echeveria colorata var. colorata. In the (very) old days, I called this one 'Tippy' (erroneously, I found out). Seems I have lots of old photo names to correct! :P
