Easter Cactus flowers still on plant?

Hi All!! I have an Easter Cactus and it as stopped blooming, but the flowers are still on it, they have not fallen off like my other one did. There is new green under the flowers. Should I just let it be or should I try to take the dead flowers off? So far I am just leaving it alone in case it stopped the growing process. This is only the one plant too, the other one's flowers dropped off and there is new growth coming up on it. The growth looks different on both plants tho. One has green starts under the flowers and the other is just looking like new growth from what I have seen. Hard to explain. If needed I can post a pic.

Anyway-- should I just leave the old flowers on it? or take them off.

Thanks in advance
marjie :)

I believe I asked the same question about my Thanksgiving cactus and I was told to leave them. I wouldn't worry about it too much, they will eventually fall off :-) I still have one on mine.

Leave them alone. They're part of that plant's natural growth. I've had that happen, too, where one plant did and one didn't.

Leave them, in nature there's no one around to help the plant out..let nature take it's course on this =)
