I got this about a month ago at a local nursery without a tag. Some have ID'd it as Discocactus buenekeri. I have read that the flower of this cactus is white but these appear to be yellow. I guess I should wait until they are opened before making that call but since they have a very short life, I might miss them later tonight.... so if someone has a better name for this, please don't be shy and speak up!!!!

That doesnt look like discocactus buenekeri ... the flowers look like they are going to be white regardless

So here we are 4 hours later... becoming fragrant....and it is going to be a white flower!

And here were are at 10:30 PM, about 6 hours after the first picture. Sure hope there is something left of this beautiful flower in the morning...

Sorry to say, as I expected, the morning light found the flowers on the wain... withering....
