I would add much more perlite....the mix still looks too peaty.

I agree; peat based soil decomposes and stops providing good drainage and aeration in a few months.

Nancy's right, it needs to be LOTS more perlite, like maybe 1/2 of each or at least 1/3 of mix should be perlite.

No water for around a week yes. And yeah at least 50% of perlite, maybe more. And make sure it gets at least 5-6 hours of direct sun

Excuse me, but pls. make that sun exposure gradual, or it'll burn.

Also, pls. remember or maybe read up on succulents a bit, but their special ability is that of holding water in their fat fleshy leaves. So if one waters them too often, it can rot them. Houseplants get more frequent watering than succulents, it's important to know that.
