are they winter growers? I read that they are summer growers but mine grew in winter and now went dormant when the heat came. joe
Judging from its name (from Ethiopia) you'd think it was a summer grower. Many succulents don't grow much when it's hot, hot, hot.

do yous water it when no growth? they have long noodle like roots that I'd hate to lose.I grow it in 3/8 pumice. joe
It sits bone dry till I see growth, then I commence watering
