| are they winter growers? I read that they are summer growers but mine grew in winter and now went dormant when the heat came. joe |

| Judging from its name (from Ethiopia) you'd think it was a summer grower. Many succulents don't grow much when it's hot, hot, hot. |

| do yous water it when no growth? they have long noodle like roots that I'd hate to lose.I grow it in 3/8 pumice. joe |
